Hand Puppets

This morning my daughter was sick so our plans take my eldest son to kinder and her to swimming soon went out the window. But... in between cleaning up vomit (NICE!) I managed to use these new exfoliating gloves and some scraps of felt and material to make some lovely little hand puppets.

My four-year-old son and I did a great job singing and entertaining both my 1 year old and "sickie" for a few hours using our new gloves. It's amazing how many times you can sing the same songs over and over and children just never get tired of hearing them LOL.

FIVE little cakes in a baker's shop
Round and fat with a lolly on the top
Along came a boy (or use a name),
With some money one day
Bought a cake and took it away.
FOUR little cakes...

FIVE little speckled frogs
Sat on a speckled log
Eating some most delicious grubs (YUM YUM).
One jumped into the pool
Where it was nice and cool
Then there were four green speckled frogs.

Here is the beehive
But where are the bees?
Hidden away where no body sees
Watch and you will see them come out of their hive
1,2,3,4 and 5
Buzz, buzz, buzz...

FIVE little ducks went out one day
Over the hill and far away
Mother duck said QUACK QUACK QUACK QUACK
But only four little ducks came back...

What a fabulous idea, using exfoliating gloves. They are so sweet and I am sure they will be beloved toys for years to come.
